+10KC shift

Remove JP54. Solder a 4.7K resistor in its place. Locate a +8 volt source. You can find one along the PC board near the front of the radio. Or from the band switch. conect the 8 volts to pin 9 of IC6. (If you install the resistor standing up, with the body nearest the center of the radio, you can connect the connect the 8volts to the leg of the resistor closest to pin 9) I used the CH9 for this. Remove the existing wires from the CH9 switch , and solder the white and pink wires together. Connect the 8 volt to the center pole of the switch and the top terminal of the switch to pin 9 of IC6. When its in the CH9 position, you have a 10KC shift. Giving you the "RC" channels, as well as channel 41 in the high band
