                                                                             EXPANDED RF

1- Remove power and antenna.
2- Remove screws open the case.
3- Locate logic board.
4- Locate and remove jumper W6 ( RX mode ).
5- Locate and CUT diode D-13.
6- Reassemble the radio.
7- You may be required to reset the microprocessor. (See owners manual)

       Expansion Range:      118-135.995 Mhz  [ AM RX ]
                                        136-174 Mhz  [ TX  RX ]
                                        320-479 Mhz  [ RX ]
                                        400-479 Mhz  [ TX  only on IC-481 ]

                                                   Cross Band Instructions
    1- Enter desired Frequencies in both bands

       ON:    In    UHF Mode press [ Set] & [Lock] until " L" Flashes.

       OFF:    Press [Set] & Lock].
