 1- Remove power ansd antenna.
 2- Remove screws and open the case.
 3- Locate front unit board.
 4- Determine the version of the radio you have.
 5- VERSION 1: Locate and remove diode D-12
 6- VERSION 2: Locate and remove diode D-13
 7- VERSION 3: Locate and remove diode D-12
 8  ADD diode D-11 and D-13 ( ICOM PART # DAN202U. symbol on diode " U " ).
    VERSION 4: Locate and remove diode D-12 and  D-13.
 9 Reassemble the radio.

 Note: Not all diodes may be installed in your radio.
