ICOM IC-901
EXPAND RF and CROSS BAND REPEATER
To modify your IC-901 for out of band receive on each of the bands remove
the following diodes in the control head.
28 MHz D24
50 MHz D28
220 MHz D19
430 MHz D25
TO ENABLE CROSS BAND REPEAT
Flip S1 on the logic board (located in main unit at the very front)
Dial up the frequency you need on the main and sub band
Turn off the IC-901
Push and hold "Check" and "Lock"
Turn the power to the IC-901 on
To disable the cross band repeat function depress the "Lock" button

Expanded RF - Cross Band Repeater
1- Remove control head cable.
2- Remove screws and open "control head" case.
3- Located and remove diodes D24, D28, D20, D19, and D25
4- Attach diodes D22, D26, D18, D12, D23.
5- Remove diode D27 (cross band repeater mode).
6- Reassemble the control head.
7- Reset the microprocessor.( Turn radio ON and press [CHECK] & [MW].

To Activate:
1- Turn the power OFF.
2- Push and Hold [ Check ] and [ Lock ] and turn power ON.
To Deactivate:
1- Press [ Lock ] Button |
OUT OF BAND RECEIVE MODS
FOR THE IC-901
