MICRO C 508 EX TX MOD!

O.K., here is the new Standard C 508A wide TX MOD....

There is a drawing showing the position of RD77 chip resistor that has to
be removed to make the C508A TX wide.

As I stated under another heading, anyone wanting the hard copy of the mod, 
including all diagrams, send a SASE to Daniel M. Conti, PO BOX 224, North 
Bergen, NJ 07047...I must have a SASE!

Here's the mod...

1. Remove 4 (four) screws from the rear and seperate front and rear block of
  radio.  (NOTE: they are connected with a flexible wire.  Be careful with
  this wire, DO NOT PUT excess tension on it!)

2. Remove Lithium battery from the micro-processor PCB side. DO NOT SHORT
  CIRCUIT  LITHIUM BATTERY!!!  When the Lithium battery is taken out, all
  memory data WILL BE erased.

3. Remove the chip resistor (RD77)

4. Return the Lithium battery to the original postion PAYING ATTENTION TO ITS 
  POLARITY!

5. Press the reset switch (SD30)

6. Assemble front and rear blocks with 4 (four) screws.

7. Put the batteries back in the C508A and turn the power on.

Enjoy the wide TX capabilites!!!
