Modification that adds 100 extra
channels to Uniden Bearcat 120
XLT scanner. In other words, it
"converts" it to Uniden Bearcat
220 XLT model, without the 800
MHz band, which needs an
entirely new receiver chip.
Just move one resistor to a
different place. This needs very
careful soldering since the
resistor is very small.
The attached picture shows the
original and the new place of
the resistor. The original place
is marked with number 1 and the
new place where you move the
resistor is marked with a number
2.
