                     EXPANDED  RF and ALIGNMENT CONTROLS                   

 1- Remove the power from the radio.
 2- Open the case and locate the PLL CONT UNIT.
 3- Remove D-701 and D-702. Do not place in jumper.
 4- Locate  Q-712 [MC14028B] and breack the connection to PIN 6 ( blue wire )
 5- Locate and connect the PIN 1 of the Q711 ( red wire) to ground.
 6- Reassemble the radio.

 NOTE: Automactic repeater OFFSET  is lost.
  
      TX range  143.990 Mhz - 149.000 Mhz
