 1- Remove battery and antenna.
 2- Locate and remove the 4 screws on the bottom battery track.
 3- Locate and remove four black screws on the rear case.
 4- Carefully open the front cover and open the radio.
 5- Note location of white paper insulator  and remove it. (Don't throw away).
 6- Locate JUMPER location J-13 and remove solder jumper.
     ATTENTION - Do not both jumper pads 13 and 15. 
 7- Replace the paper insulator making sure the ground tabs slide 
     through insulator   
 8- Close the radio being careful not to pinch any wires.
 9- Replace all screws.
10- Reassemble the battery and antenna.
11- Reset ( Press and hold [UP] and [DOWN] arrow buttons and turn radio ON.
